From the 1960s to the 1980s, they were not missing from any party room or well-stocked record collection in a teenager's room: the hit samplers. The current catchy tunes of the season were initially found on an LP and later often on a double LP (DLP). Back then, you could find up to 20 well-known songs on one LP for relatively little money. Most of these were compilations of current hits or genre-related classics. Many hit samplers (series) have become sought-after collector's items over time. In our shop we carry all sampler styles: from the hits of the year to German Volksmusik classics to heavy metal or punk samplers.
