Unforgettable longplay records with German song classics

From the 1950s until well into the 1970s, the LPs with German songs were dominated by the Schlager and Liedermacher genres. Rock music with German lyrics actually only began to establish itself in the mid-1970s with the early works of Udo Lindenberg, Achim Reichel and Westernhagen. German rock made its breakthrough in the 1980s with the cult albums by BAP, Herbert Grönemeyer and many other artists who are still active today. At the same time, the Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW) ensured that happy pop songs could be arranged with (sometimes) somewhat bizarre lyrics in conjunction with internationally suitable melodies. Pretty much all German vinyl classics from the last few decades can be found in our shop - not always in stock, but always in very good and complete condition.
